Miss Annie and I have both been sick and our palates are not yet up to tasting wine. The last bottle I had -- and I know it was a brilliant syrah -- tasted vinegary. The remainder of that bottle is in tupperware in the freezer, waiting to help me make some lamb.
In compensation, I bring you my coworker Clint's favourite BC wine: Black Hills Nota Bene from the Black Sage Bench. If you can find a bottle of this Bordeaux-style nectar, snap it right up.
Also, Anthony Gismondi has recently published his list of top 10 BC wines. I don't always agree with Mr. Gismondi, but hey, he's the pro and I'm just an amateur who loves to drink nummy wine. The root of amateur is, of course the word love, and love is what wine's all about.
