Since it's difficult to find a comprehensive, regularly updated list of all the wine events in town, I've decided to start my own: Vancouver Wine Events. I'm using Google Calendar, so it should be quick and easy for me to add and update events. If I don't keep it updated, please feel free to kick my butt!
My honey and I just got back from a fantastic weekend in the Okanagan. The best part of the trip was a transcendent meal on the Terrace at Mission Hill. It was one of the best meals of my life. I have photos. Food porn is forthcoming!
Also forthcoming is a report on the incredibly fun Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans concert Tinhorn Creek hosted for their 15th Anniversary celebration. What a great party! We had wine, wind, and flying elbows in a two-stepping mosh. I have photos!
Here's a list of all the wineries we visited: Road 13, Burrowing Owl, Hillside Estates, Tinhorn Creek, La Frenz, Poplar Grove, Quail's Gate, Mission Hill, and Mt. Boucherie. Doesn't sound like a lot, but we were exhausted. I have photos galore and lots of wines to blog about. Yeah!
